I Thought I Had It All Figured Out…
Before kids, I imagined motherhood would be a sweet addition to life as it was. But the truth? Motherhood completely changed me—who I am, what I prioritize, and even what I need to feel well.
Pregnancy, postpartum, hormones, sleepless nights, and two little humans who always need you—it’s a journey unlike anything else. Staying healthy and energized has never felt more important… or more challenging.
I’m not perfect. I’m still learning. But I’ve found a few things that keep me grounded, balanced, and (mostly) sane in this chapter of life.
My Go-To Rituals for Health and Energy as a Mom
Wholefood Multivitamin = Non-Negotiable
Even with a healthy diet, I still rely on my SuperPlants Multivitamin to make sure I get essential nutrients from real plants every single day. Especially with toddler germs in the house, it helps keep my immunity strong and my energy steady.
Flexibility Over Perfection
Rigid routines don’t work anymore. I keep a short list of feel-good habits and choose what fits each day. Some mornings it’s yoga, other days just stretching or a gentle walk. Listening to my body makes all the difference.
Walk & Talk
Stroller walks are medicine for my body and mind. Fresh air, movement, and when possible, a quick call to a friend—it’s the ultimate mood booster.
Do It Together
One of my favorite things is involving my kids in the kitchen. Whether it’s Beauty Berry smoothies, Daily Greens shots, or pancakes, we make it fun (and messy). They learn healthy habits early, and I get support instead of stress.
Home Cooking = Always Worth It
Yes, it’s work—three meals a day plus snacks. But making food at home means no hidden oils, salts, or fillers. Just real, simple food that fuels us. My secret? I cook, Michael cleans—that’s our deal.

What I’ve Learned About Health Through Motherhood
-
Your nervous system and hormones need as much care as your diet.
-
Nourishment beats perfection—plants are your best ally.
-
Community and support (friends, family, walks, coaching) matter just as much as nutrition.
Motherhood has been the biggest transformation of my life, and I’m still figuring it out. But these rituals help me feel more grounded, resilient, and alive.
If you’re navigating this chapter too, I’d love to hear your story. 💛
